Silicon Valley’s First SXSW Community Meet Up
Takes Place at C2SV on October 7
Networking event brings together Bay Area’s SXSW community.
Free C2SV passes available to early meetup registrants.
Austin’s legendary SXSW will hold its first official Silicon Valley Meet Up at the closing of the C2SV technology conference in San Jose on October 7.
In its fourth year, C2SV is Silicon Valley’s pre-eminent technology and music festival. Beginning Thursday, October 6, Creative Convergence Silicon Valley (C2SV), will bring together business disrupters and technology luminaries for two days of forward-looking discussions and three nights of music and parties with established and emerging musical artists.
The Meet Up, which takes place from 5 to 7 pm at San Jose’s Aura nightclub, will bring together past South by Southwest attendees and presenters from throughout the Bay Area to network and socialize as well as introduce the festival to people interested in attending.
A SXSW representative will also be on hand to discuss changes for the 2017 season, share exciting announcements regarding the March Conference and Festival and answer questions.
Early registrants for the SXSW Meet Up will also receive a free individual C2SV conference badge, enabling attendance at the Thursday and Friday conference sessions.
The SXSW Meet Up is free—attendees just need to sign-up at c2sv2016.sched.org. Capacity is limited, so early registration is recommended. Aura Nightclub is located at 389 S 1st St., San Jose, CA 95113. Parking is available at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center one block away and other nearby public parking lots and garages. Please note that S. 1st Street will be closed to motor vehicle traffic on Fri. Oct. 7 due to the South First Fridays event.
